Aaliyah has been an invaluable asset at Denmark High School. It has been an awesome two year experience to watch her transform into an incredible young lady that has yet to realize the impact that she has on others. She is kind, caring, humble, and always puts others first in anything and everything she does. She leads others by example and continues to be an incredible role model. She is an exceptional leader in our AP Ambassador program, through UNICEF, and various other roles. Aaliyah truly embodies the spirit of the AJC Cup Award.

Adia is the president of the Student Council and serves in several leadership initiatives outside of school. As a member of the Gwinnett County Public Schools Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council, she identified an issue of concern at our school and learned how to take actionable steps to solve the problem. Adia focused her attention on helping students become more aware of the various clubs and organizations at our school to build school spirit. Adia also excels academically in all content areas. She is a high-performing student who is intrinsically motivated to succeed in all academic content including AP/Honors classes.

Adriel is the valedictorian of the Class of 2024. He is an accomplished musician who plays the clarinet and trumpet for our band. He's received nearly 300,000 in scholarship offers for his academics and band. Adriel has received several awards an accolades as a member of HOSA. He's a Georgia Merit Scholar, and College Board scholars who has received the National African-American Recognition Award for scoring high on his AP exams.

Afeya is a graduating senior at Dutchtown High School. She is currently ranked in the top 5% of her class with a GPA of 4.35. During her high school matriculation, she has taken a combination of all honors and advanced placement courses. Afeya has completed career pathways in the field of Early Childhood Education & Food Wellness. In addition, she has complete a World Language Pathway with four levels of Honors Spanish. As a future educator, Afeya participates in the schools work-based program where she works part time at one of the district's feeder elementary schools. Afeya amazingly balances academics and extra-curricular activities by being an active member of the color guard and participation in six leadership / community service based organizations. In addition to serving in club leadership roles, Afeya has been recognized as a Certificate of Merit Scholar & College Board National African American Recognition Award. Afeya serves as a positive role model for her peers and influence for the elementary / middle school students that she mentors as a Senior Academic Mentor.

Aicha Seck stands out as a dynamic moral leader, recognized for her unwavering courage, empathy, and dedication to enhancing the lives of others. As a student organizer and leader, she has been instrumental in organizing impactful events such as the Special Needs Dance, Shop with a Mustang, and Special Needs field days, actively engaging her peers and raising necessary funds. Her leadership and academic excellence have earned her the admiration of her peers, leading to her recognition as Miss KMHS and inclusion in the Top 10 Hall of Fame for the class of 2024 by KMHS teachers and staff.

Ajanay Butts is a truly remarkable student who has shown exceptional dedication, determination, and passion. Ajanay is not only an exemplary student but also a compassionate and dedicated individual who tirelessly contributes to her school community. As the president of the Black Student Union and a member of the Spanish Honor Society, Ajanay demonstrates her strong leadership qualities and commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment. Outside of the classroom, Ajanay is a talented dancer and consistently gives back to her community through her volunteer work at local food pantries. Her ability to balance her demanding academic schedule, extracurricular activities, and community service is a testament to her incredible work ethic and time management skills.

Akira Brown is an extremely well-rounded individual who has excelled inside and outside of the classroom. With a 4.2 GPA, Akira serves as the Team Captain for WHS’s basketball and track teams, while serving as a District Council Member for the Student Athletic Advisory Council, serving as a WHS Ambassador, and positively impacting our school and community as a member of the National Beta Club and Student Government Association. Akira’s numerous accolades include Highest GPA Awards (basketball and track) every year of high school and being the county nominee for Female Athlete Leadership and Female Athlete of the Year Awards.

Akivo Walker embodies the Seckinger High School standard in every aspect of his life. He is an intelligent and hardworking individual who serves others with genuine kindness. His perseverance through past adversity has allowed him to grow into a leader in his community. Akivo puts his academic performance as a priority and leads by example. He is a starter on the Varsity Basketball and Track & Field teams, and he also mentors elementary school students and teaches them about kindness and overcoming adversity. Akivo demonstrates respect and caring to everyone he meets and inspires others through his positive outlook.

Alanni is an extraordinary student who is intellectually curious, compassionate, and dedicated to everything and everyone she works with. She is a natural leader with an outgoing personality that encourages and provides guidance to others. Alanni ranks in the top of her class while maintaining a rigorous courseload complied of various honors, AP, and Dual Enrollment courses. She is the true definition of a role model in her community and at FAVE.

Albany Robinson epitomizes excellence at Union Grove High School, excelling academically and athletically while embodying remarkable character. With an impressive roster of 20 AP and Dual Enrollment classes under her belt, Albany stands tall as the 3rd-ranked student in her graduating class. Her prowess extends beyond academics she's a force on the field, earning varsity letters in Cross Country, Swim, Track, and Soccer. Nominated for prestigious awards like the Vincent J. Dooley Award and the GADA/NIAAA Student Athlete Scholarship, Albany's commitment to sportsmanship and leadership shines through. Her dedication extends to extracurriculars, where she balances responsibilities effortlessly, making her an exemplary representative of UGHS Class of 2024.

The faculty at ELCA describes Alex as intuitive and sensitive to others’ emotions and struggles. He is kind and caring during these moments. Alex is a natural leader who loves and takes pride in his school. He diligently balances a rigorous course schedule while being very active in the life of the school. Alex is an Ambassador for ELCA (assists new students), a member of the Student Government Association (serves on the Executive Board), Unity Council, Mock Trial team, and is the Statistician/Manager for the Basketball, Baseball, and Football teams. Alex actively volunteers through the Operation Christmas Child program.

The faculty and staff voted Alex Henry as the best all-around student in the Class of 2024 at Lithia Springs High School. Alex is a very competitive, determined, and charismatic individual. He has been a vital member of Beta Club, African Student Association n, and Robotics team. He has served as captain of the football team as well as many recognitions on the track and field team. Alex has won region competitions in shot put and discus as well as state shot put champion. His overall record in varsity wrestling is 15 wins and only two losses. He currently plans to attend college on a Track and Field scholarship. Lithia Springs High School is a better place because of Alex Henry’s contributions.

Alex Teal is one of those students that you wish that you had a classroom full of. Not only is he an exemplary student but he is also an exemplary athlete. Alex is a three- sport athlete who participates in track, football, and wrestling. Alex recently committed to Warner University to further his education while also having the ability to continue to play both football and track. The sky is the limit for Alex, he will continue to excel in everything that he commits his heart and mind to.

Alex was selected by the staff for her desire to go above and beyond in her extracurricular activities and her academics. She has done fantastic work these past four years and we know that she will excel wherever life takes her.

Alexis embodies the mission and vision of Paul Duke STEM High School. As a first generation college student, Alexis has overcome many challenges to achieve his goal of acceptance into Georgia Tech. He founded the first SHPE (Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers) Jr chapter in Gwinnett County and has served as its president for the first two years. He has volunteered to help elementary school students at Baldwin with science fair projects and other STEM activities. He has also helped other PDS students with their college aspirations by fostering a relationship with SHPE chapters at Georgia Tech and Kennesaw State. He held leadership positions on the EV team and TSA. Not to mention, holding down an internship at Siemens corporation through work-based learning. Alexis is a phenomenal human being, worthy of the AJC Cup!

Alyssa Cornwall has successfully participated in thirteen advanced placement courses placing her in the top 5% of her graduating class. She maintained a stellar academic performance while participating in various extracurricular activities such as playing varsity tennis, being President of National Honor Society, and serving as a RMSST Ambassador. Outside of school, Alyssa is an avid volunteer in the Conyers community, collecting toiletries for women and children and creating thank you cards for veterans. Her teachers describe her as determined, kind, and dependable. She is a cherished member of our school community, and we will miss her upon graduation!

We selected Amanda Eziukwu because she is, quite simply, an exemplary student. She has maintained a 4.1+ GPA throughout her high school career and maintained that GPA while participating in a grueling basketball schedule including games and practices. Amanda has given of her time to volunteer in her local community feeding the hungry, even in the coldest weather. Everyone on campus loves Amanda – she has an infectious smile and is always willing to lend a helpful hand to anyone who is ever in need. God made this special young lady, and she has a bright future ahead of her.

Amiria Smiley is a gem of a student. Diligent, driven, considerate, and committed, she is more than deserving of this honor. She has a 4.1 GPA and is in the top 10% of her senior class, all while taking dual enrollment courses at Georgia Piedmont Technical College, interning through the work-based learning program at Piedmont Rockdale Hospital, and cheering for the varsity football squad. Amiria is also a platoon leader with the Marine JROTC unit, and as member of HOSA, she received the Barabara James Service Award for completing over 250 community service hours with the Veterans Affairs office in DeKalb County and Piedmont Rockdale Hospital. Amiria is also a finalist for the prestigious Gates Scholarship.

Andrea Espino is a well-rounded student who truly embodies what it means to be an authentic individual and devoted scholar. She is an exceptional young lady who is a pleasure to be in her presence and is a model for scholarship and service. Andrea epitomizes qualities of excellence throughout her character, academic and leadership achievement and she continues to rise with every challenge encountered.

Andrew Albright’s multifaceted accomplishments, coupled with his integrity and leadership, make him a deserving recipient of this award. His academic achievements, including consistent recognition on the Dean’s List, selection as a Governor’s Honors Program Finalist, and National Merit Semifinalist distinction, are matched by his leadership in extracurricular activities. As the Science National Honor Society co-president, Junior Classical League (JCL) co-president, National Honor Society member, and teammate on the cross country and track & field teams, Andrew has demonstrated dedication to excellence. As founder and co-president of the AAPI Affinity Group, Andrew has enriched the cultural fabric of Marist. His character and accomplishments are emblematic of the values we hold dear at Marist School.

Andrew (Drew) has been a peer facilitator with our students with moderate intellectual disabilities for three out of his four years here at Forsyth Central High School. He treats our students with the utmost respect and is truly their friend. In fact, many of them look forward to seeing him each day. He also works alongside many of them as a mentor at Sliceability, a local pizzeria, in addition to his after-school job at Rosati's, another local restaurant. He is a model for how people should treat each other. In addition to his integrity and caring personality, he exudes school spirit. He is one of the leaders of the 'Crazies,' a student-led school spirit group, and helps organize support for all activities at school. Drew is also studious and keeps up with his studies while doing all his extracurricular and community service activities. He is an excellent representative of our school and truly embodies the 'heart of Forsyth.''

Andrew Johnson is an exceptional example of a well-rounded student who is recognized as a leader by his classmates and Carrollton High School faculty. He is a member of the CHS Debate Team and has won numerous state championships. He also pursues the highest level of rigor through our International Baccalaureate program. He is involved in multiple clubs and serves in leadership roles, such as a US Senate Youth Program nominee, Wofford Scholar, GA Scholar nominee, Homecoming Court, and Outstanding Senior.

Andrew was nominated by several SPHS staff because of his strong leadership skills, his academic strengths, and the many extracurricular activities in which he is involved. Andrew is a kind, polite, respectful, and extremely intelligent young man. His strengths lie in both his academic abilities and his extracurricular achievements. Andrew is an active member of the South Paulding High School Varsity Basketball Team (4 years), BETA Club, National Honor Society, DECA, STEM Program, Sources of Strength, Spearhead and Spartan Brothers all while maintaining A’s in his classes, and ranking in the top 20 of his class. He is talented, caring, intuitive, dedicated, and focused on his pursuits. Andrew is truly a stand-out individual who will impress everyone he meets.

At Whitewater High School, the AJC Cup recipient is voted by the entire staff. Being that the recipient of the AJC Cup is described to be the best all-around student, recognized for achieving excellence in academics, leadership, and school/community activities, Braeden was the perfect choice. With a 4.449 GPA, Braeden performs stronger, academically, than 99.39% of her graduating class. Braeden is a leader for Whitewater High School's Varsity Softball team, Varsity Flag Football Team, and Varsity Golf team. Braeden has made a huge impact on our school and is deserving of this recognition.

Ange Sanchez Fuentes embodies excellence in academia and artistry. Renowned for her soaring vocals, she's a stalwart in the choir, renowned for dedication and hard work. With relentless enthusiasm, she ensures her craft is perfected to the highest standard, setting a benchmark for others. A consistent honor roll achiever, a Georgia Governor’s Honor Program Vocal Finalist and All State Chorus Finalist, showcasing exceptional talent. Her accolades extend beyond the classroom- 1st place in sight reading in chorus and 1st place world languages music competitions, alongside recognition for stellar performances in the school and district musical.

She is one of the most exceptional students I have encountered in my 12 years of teaching. I have taught Anna for the last 4 years. She was first a member of Concert Choir and for the last 3 years, has been a member of HighLeit—the most advanced mixed choir at DeKalb School of the Arts. Additionally, she serves as the dance and lead captain of this ensemble. I am not surprised to find out she has been named the Salutatorian of a very accomplished senior class.

Anna is a top student of strong integrity, artistic talent, athletic skill, and leadership. She has choreographed several theater productions, won an acting award, served as student government chaplain and a member of Walton Youth Leadership, and runs with the cross-country team. She volunteered as a group leader at WinShape Camp this past summer. Anna brings her optimism, ever-present smile, and work ethic to every activity. She’s a leader and a teacher at heart, and she has a personality that will have her future students not only learning but also enjoying the learning.

Annika, driven, determined, resilient, and intentional, demonstrates an exemplary work ethic, learns from challenges, and possesses a curious mind. Her contributions extend beyond the classroom as a competitive athlete, softball and soccer captain, National Art Honor Society Treasurer, Senior Mentor President, and KRCS Babysitter Club founder. Annika engages in volunteer work and tutoring and is a compassionate community member known for her daily altruism. She steps in to serve where there is a need, blending her talents and interests with her compass for justice. Annika chooses respect and integrity though humble, she steadfastly stands up for what she believes in and for those whose voices are not heard.

Antwan Smith is a model student. He embodies our best all-around senior by his commitment to maintaining Westlake’s pillars of academics, athletics and the arts. He is a natural choice for this year’s award. As co-captain of the football team, and lead runner with the track and field team, his teams consistently receive state and national recognition.

Aoife is an outstanding student and a multi-sport athlete. She is invested in almost every aspect of our school community, holding leadership roles in everything from flag football to student government to service organizations and clubs. What sets her apart, though, is an infectious energy and an open heart that encourages others to join her in embracing all that life has to offer. She truly represents the best of the Allatoona Bucs.

Ashanty is a 2024 honor graduate and actively involved in the school and community. She volunteered to write a speech for the TOTY ceremony, served as an MC at the International Night, performed at the BHM Open Mic Night, and supported the International Karaoke after school. She has attended the GSLT Summits and is a former Peer Leader. Ashanty is an office aide and is ALWAYS willing to serve. She talks about how PROUD she is to be a COMET and that she LOVES SGHS. Ashanty was also recognized as an HHS student of the month during the 23-24 school year and is passionate about the healthcare field and aspires to become an OBGYN.

Asiah Carroll was selected for her exemplary leadership and dedication. As a charter member of the school's HOSA club and parliamentarian, SGA Secretary, Varsity Cheerleader, National Honor Society Vice President, Beta Club member, and Atlanta Junior Civitan charter member, she consistently demonstrates outstanding commitment to both academic excellence and community service. After high school, Asiah plans to attend Georgia Institute of Technology.

Aubree is nothing less than a top-notch student and athlete. She is considered a leader in our school and is involved in multiple clubs and organizations, including FCA, FFA, and National Honor Society. She has been a valued member of our Varsity Softball Team throughout high school, helping the team win multiple championships and winning various awards herself. Aubree has taken earned several college credits while in high school and has been named our Salutatorian for 2024.

Autumn Luke is an outstanding student. She has accomplished the top honor of being the school's Salutatorian and Star Student. As a student she has completed several AP and Dual Enrollment Courses. Giving her a leg up on her courses for college. She is involved with several programs in school like Senior Committee, National Honor Society, Rho Kappa, volunteered with Varsity Volleyball, Beta Club and a host of other academic and civically engaged programs.

Eva is a kind, compassionate, and caring person who loves to encourage and help others. She possesses a remarkable level of grit and resilience, allowing her to tackle challenges with determination and perseverance. Additionally, her musical creativity reflects her ability to embrace diverse forms of expression. Among Ava's proudest accomplishments are her role as drum major in the Norcross Blue Devil Marching Band, co-captain of the swim, and her participation in building a house in Ensenada, Mexico, for a family in need. These experiences have allowed her to lead and contribute positively to her community, both locally and globally.

Avery has a true passion for music, which shows in her work and career plans. Avery is a very creative student who takes inspiration from many sources. Her work is always among the most impressive pieces in her class. She was also a finalist for the Governor’s Honors Program for Voice. Avery holds numerous awards and recognitions for vocal work, including Closing Soloist at Georgia ThesCon in 2022 & 2023. Avery is a supportive classmate with a generous and helpful personality. She has been a true ambassador for Gwinnett Online Campus and will continue to do so at her next institution. Avery holds the respect of all here at Gwinnett Online Campus.

Avril has demonstrated a spirit of excellence in everything she does. She will graduate as the valedictorian of the 2024 senior class. She has completed 30 college credits through dual enrollment and has continued to maintain her 4.0 GPA. She has been a 4 year letter winner for both the volleyball and basketball teams. She also works in student government organizing community service projects.

Student is extremely focused and disciplined in her academics, with dreams of becoming a tv personality.

Braelyn was nominated because she is a great leader inside and outside of the classroom. Braelyn is the senior class president of her graduating class. She is an active member of the National Honor Society, HOSA, and the Science National Honors Society. She is currently a full-time dual enrollment student at the University of Georgia. She was a nominee for the governor’s honor program for physics. She has served as the Junior class president. She is an FCA ambassador. She has been a member of the golf team for four years. She was on the senior varsity cheer squad. She was a member of Chick-Fila Leadership academy. She was also a Coca-Cola award recipient.

Brandon Burdette is a well rounded student athlete he participates in Football, Basketball, Track and Field, Student Government, National Honor Society and our Student Athlete Leadership Team. Brandon is a hardworking, high achieving dedicated driven student athlete that excels in the classroom and athletically. Brandon has demonstrated through hard work and dedication

Brandon Pruitt - Brandon is a PHENOMENAL young man with astonishing work ethics and professionalism at such a young age. He is very serious when it comes to his academics and currently has a 3.74 GPA. Brandon has completed the Financial Services Pathway at Heritage and received college credits for this completion. He is a member of FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) for the past two years and is currently the President for the organization. Brandon was chosen by his peers to be the president based on his involvement in community service initiatives. He spearheaded a coat drive fundraiser to help families within our community. He also placed twice in the FBLA State Competitions and is always the member who sells the most monies through fundraising initiatives. Brandon is a STAR athlete as well! He is an All-Region Football Recipient, State Playoffs participant and the Varsity Football Captain, Golf Team Captain, Golf Conyers Cup Winner, and 4-Year Varsity Letterman. Brandon is a well-rounded academic student, leader and athlete.

Brayden is a scholar, an athlete, and is always willing to lend a helping hand to his peers. His teachers describe him as one of the kindest and most helpful students at Woodland High School. He acts as a mentor to younger students, and always has a positive attitude.

Brock is the Salutatorian candidate for Fellowship Christian School. He is a true servant-leader in every sense of the word. Brock has served on a mission trip to Costa Rica and is a member of Fellowship's Peer Leader Program, National Honor Society, and National Beta Club. He is the President and Founder of the Fellowship Christian School Chess Club and has also started a tutoring business. A high honor roll student (+4.0 GPA) all four years, Brock is a National Merit Scholar. He plays guitar and is on the chapel leadership and worship team. Brock is a two-sport athlete all four years in cross country (competed at state his senior year) and tennis (three time region champion, state runner-up his junior year, qualified for state tennis tournament his senior year at the time of submission, and currently is 39-0 as member of our doubles tennis team).

Brooks was chosen because he exemplifies the characteristics that this respected award is in search of. Brooks is an excellent student that takes his academics seriously and strives to do his best. Brooks is a seasoned ninja warrior and recently competed on the national level. Brooks is a community servant and has put in many hours over the last four years serving his church and community. Brooks is also a natural, humble leader that makes everyone feel welcomed and loved.

Caden is one of those students you are so thankful to have known. He strives for outstanding in everything he does. Caden is the Valedictorian of his senior class and has maintained his 4.0 grade point average while taking the most rigorous coursework available to him including AP and dual enrollment classes. He still manages to be active in extracurricular activities such as CHS Band, Chorus, Drama, Tennis, Track and Field, and a member of the USBC League Bowling. He has won awards in several of these activities such as: GHSA Literary - Region 7A 1st Place Men's Quartet, GMEA One Act Play - Best Actor in Region 7A, CHS Band. Caden was selected by the faculty at Coosa High School for the PAGE Star Student Award. He is a member of the Academic Decathlon, FCS Math Team, National Honor Society, and the National Society of High School Scholars.

Caden is wise beyond his years. He possesses a maturity that isn't seen too often in high school students, and his sense of responsibility is impressive. He is kind to all, friendly, and a wonderful example of what we hope a DCHS graduate looks like.

Hiram High School has selected Caleb Eichner based on his contributions to our school and community. He is currently ranked #14 and holds a 4.0 weighted GPA. Through-out high school Caleb has been dual enrolled at KSU and has been a member of Beta Club and the Spanish Honor Society. Caleb is a three-sport athlete including Captain of the football team and wrestling team and a member of the golf team. Caleb is also the leader of HHS Fellowship of Christian Athletes huddle and has done several volunteer service projects including Night of the Stars (special needs prom), West Ridge church VBS, and the Yaarab Shriners Club events.

Camden is a leader in many different areas of the school including band, swimming, and tennis. He was the drum major this past year for his senior marching band season and then turned around to lead the boys and girls swim teams as the head captain. He didn't let it stop there as he finished swim January 26th and showed up for tennis practice the next Monday. On top of that he is active in his church and the fine arts department where he was in both All-State Chorus and Band and District Honor Band. Camden is a true student-athlete and involved in all aspects of the school.

Cameron is a bright, talented student and natural leader. He isn’t afraid of challenges and often seeks them out. Whether through his love of music and participation in Band or as an athlete and academic, Cameron pursues the hard things and isn’t afraid of what comes with them. We are proud to recognize Cameron as a exceptional academic, leader, and contributor to our community.

Cameron Camp is an extraordinary student with an impressive list of academic and athletic accomplishments. Cameron has been accepted to over 22 Universities, including Auburn University, Xavier University, University of Alabama, North Carolina A & T and has amassed over 200,000 is scholarship awards. He is an AP Honor student, Dual enrollment student, National Honor Society, Superintendent Scholar and Superintendent's Advisory Council Member, and Youth Leadership Douglas Class of 2023. He was voted the 2023-24 DCHS Homecoming King by the student body. An indomitable force in Varsity Baseball, Cameron has clinched the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Baseball Award '23-'24. He is a member of Student Government, FBLA, and the Chick-fil-A Leadership Academy. He has maintained an impressive 3.9 grade point average while balancing his academics, along with athletic affiliations and civic pursuits. Cameron's academic prowess is matched only by his kindness, care for others, and his overall desire to heal the world. Cameron plans to become a pediatrician where he can further continue his love of science, and helping to make those around him better. He has spearheaded clothing drives, volunteered at baseball summer camps, and serves as an academic tutor in science and math. He has garnered the hours needed to be a pharmacy technician in the state of Georgia by completing 189 hours unpaid in a local pharmacy. Cameron's commitment to community service is commendable, volunteering extensively in youth sports, homeless outreach initiatives, and charitable events. Cameron's exemplary character, combined with his academic and athletic accomplishments, positions him as a beacon of inspiration for his peers and a promising future leader in his community.

ameron Green is a well-rounded young lady who is self-motivated and who demonstrates mastery in both academic as well as athletics. Cameron participates in several extracurriculum activities which includes the Spoken Word Club, Yearbook Committee, No Place For Hate Committee, Rho Kappa Honor Society, Lacrosse,Sister Circle Club,Varsity Flag Football, National Science Honor Society, and the National Beta Club. Cameron is respected by all of her peers and teachers alike, because of her genuine zeal for learning.

Camila is always looking for ways to better herself as a person and as up-and-coming leader in our state! She consistently achieves near or better than 100% in every class. She is an exemplary student inside the classroom and outside with extracurriculars. These include Model UN (chief delegate), SkillsUSA (president), Mock Trial (president), Marching Band (section captain), Concert Band (section leader). Camila completed a rigorous internship over the summer (2023) at the Georgia State Bar where she was named as the BEST female student and earned the admission into the Student Bar of Georgia. Camila is my go-to in the Law and Criminal Justice classes as she is one of a handful of students completing both three-year pathways in her four years at MHS.

With his down to earth, boy next door appeal, and his intuitive academic curiosity, Christian McElroy is a standout in his class. Darius served as one of our two permanent team captains for the 2023 football season. Dayson is a recent winner of the CTAE Academic Excellence Award for his academic achievement in GCA’s Business Communication Pathway. Dayson has already completed the Digital Technology Pathway and will graduate as a dual pathway completer. He is also a Dual Enrollment student at Georgia Piedmont Technical College. Dayson has maintained a 4.0 GPA. Dayson has spoken to audiences of 2,000 people. He devotes 50 hours a month as a Bible teacher for his church. After completing his post-secondary degree, Dayson aspires to continue his religious involvement at the World Jehovah Witness Headquarters in New York.

Deacon Maynard stands out in his graduating class as one of the top students in academic performance, leadership, and school involvement. He is well-respected by students and teachers alike. This year, Destiny made history at Eastside High School by becoming the first girl to advance to Sectionals on the wrestling team. Devin is a glowing example he is a good friend to classmates, showing kindness to those who need a friend, and taking time to ask others how they are doing. His smile is contagious, matching with his friendly disposition. Devin is naturally service-oriented and particularly shone during the Senior Mission Trip, engaging with children in the village his class was serving, volunteering for many tasks during the trip. He also donated his time to be the school’s mascot, Rocky. This means dressing in a bulky, hot costume for school pep rallies and other events, and Devin does so with joy.

Miss Emma Bayer has been at our school since it's beginning in 2021. Elite Scholars Academy has chosen Miss Jada Stephens as the Class of 2024 AJC Cup recipient for her constant dedication to our school community, her community, leadership, and dedication to others. Jaden Tarver is an exceptional student chosen to represent South Cobb High School this year for her strong character, academic skills, and community commitment. She serves as the SGA Vice-President, is a member of the National Honor Society, and received the 2023-24 Boys and Girls Club of Metro Atlanta Youth of the Year award. Jaden actively participates in community service events such as Hosea Helps food drives, teaching Sunday School, and volunteering at the women’s shelter, showcasing her compassion and dedication to making a positive impact.

There are so many reasons that Jaden is an exceptional choice for the AJC Cup. He holds several cabinet positions in different organizations, such as BETA, NHS, Student Government, Black Student Union, but it's his work to serve others that makes Jaden such an extraordinary story. Jaden is passionate about giving back to his community while creating a platform and tools for students to gain access to post-secondary success. Jakamron Wilkerson exemplifies the characteristics of an AJC Cup Award winner, as he has a tenacious spirit. Mr. Wilkerson was born with cerebral palsy, and he has always remained positive about his experiences in life. Jakamron has been active in the school community, maintaining his leadership roles among his graduating class, and being a part of wheelchair sports in the community of the city of Atlanta. Jakamaron always has a positive outlook on life, and he enjoys making others smile with his conscious rap lyrics and deep writing efforts. Jakamron exceeds the qualities of an AJC Cup winner.

Jake Hall is a true embodiment of excellence and leadership at Cartersville High School. With a remarkable GPA of 4.3, he consistently demonstrates unparalleled academic prowess. In recognition of his academic achievements he has received the Scholastic Gold Key award, selected as a Governor’s Honors Program Finalist, serves on the Principal’s Leadership Team, and is a member of the National Honor Society. However, his impact extends far beyond the classroom walls. As a multifaceted leader, he serves as the District Vice President of 4H, guiding peers with integrity and passion towards meaningful community engagement. Additionally, Jake shines as the assistant editor of Chipper, the school’s online newspaper, lending his journalistic talents to inform and inspire. His creative spirit is further evident as a founding member of the Alcove Literary Society, fostering a love for literature and artistic expression among his peers and a skilled videographer, capturing moments with an artistic eye, adding depth and emotion to his inimitable storytelling. Jamie Cruz Olmedo is a dedicated and hardworking student who excels inside and outside the classroom. What makes her special is the zeal she has for high academic achievement and service to her school and local communities. Jamie’s leadership skills and service have been exemplified through her work as a student ambassador, student leader for No Place for Hate, and President of National Honors Society. Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit High School is extremely proud Jamie and her accomplishments.

Cadets Lt Col Jarell Daniels received a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition from Congressman Hank Johnson and he was accepted into the United States Military Academy, West Point. Upon completion of West Point, Jarell will be commissioned as officers in the U.S. Army. Jarell is also a student leader at Towers and is respected by his peers and teachers.

Jenea has been a standout student during her tenure at Creekside. Academically, she is in the top 10% in her graduating class and has already earned dual enrollment credits that will count towards her post-secondary institution. She has been a member of our band and has received numerous scholarships from various institutions.

Joe lives his life as the embodiment of an exclamation mark. Truly, there is no other way to put it. He is hilarious and well beyond his years in “dad jokes”, making him a connector of people. He is bold and unafraid of being the first to try something, even if it fails. And at his core, Joe lives his life by the philosophy that if he puts goodness and kindness into this world, it will come back to him. Mount Vernon has been on the other side of his goodness and kindness and let me tell you, it is life changing.

At an early age, John was intrigued by math. He continues to pursue his passion for math, science, and engineering in his choice of academic courses and extracurricular activities including the school math team and math center tutor while playing the trombone for 6 years and serving on the Student Government Association. John has been a part-time Target employee where he learned the value of communication and teamwork. His teachers report: “John is brilliant and consistently volunteers to do more than is asked. He is a leader in our STEM outreach program.”

Per the faculty John Michael is an awesome person. He is very involved in sports and academics and clubs on campus. He is a leader in the classroom and outside of the classroom. He is high achieving and sets an example for his peers. He loves to learn and is a positive presence wherever he goes. He's an amazing representative of being the BRIDGE which stands for Brave, Respectful, Involved, Determined, Generous and Engaged. At Cambridge, we strive to be the BRIDGE and John Michael embodies it.

Jose Villazon is an exceptionally humble and brilliant student who leads by serving others. A devout Catholic and a frequent altar server at Daily Mass, he exemplifies faith and dedication in everything he does. Excelling academically, Jose has taken Honors and AP courses since 8th grade while maintaining stellar grades. As House President, Kairos Retreat leader, NHS member, and Varsity soccer team leader, he diligently meets every deadline, while joyfully supporting those around him and leading them in the faith. His character, leadership, and achievements make him truly deserving of this nomination.

Joshua entered BEST Academy during the peak of COVID-19 Pandemic as a 9th grader. One could sense that he was trying to find his place and connection within the school culture. Joshua excelled in all areas. He demonstrated his commitment to his academics, athletics, and community engagement. He quickly became the student who teachers relied on to follow through with various tasks and to represent his class when needed. Joshua is humble and thoughtful. He considers the feelings and needs of others over himself. He always has a kind word or his lovely smile to share with others.

Working with a student like Joshua is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. He is a change agent and his impact touches nearly every corner of our campus. Academically, Joshua will graduate with highest honors taking 8 AP classes, 1 post AP class and an independent study. Artistically, Joshua has held significant roles in over 10 theater productions. Civically, he is a leader in several organizations including Lovett’s Student Diversity Leadership Council and SGA. Joshua takes the lead in hard conversations including all voices around the table. Joshua is a model student of high character. He represents the best of Lovett.

Julienne 'Juju' Forehand is an exceptional student in so many areas. She is a gifted musician, dedicated scholar, varsity athlete, and talented newscaster. A strong leader and mentor, JuJu is always serving others. She is respected by students and teachers alike, and maintains a sense of fun that brings joy to everyone she encounters. JuJu is an outstanding, well-rounded person whose personal strengths are as impressive as her intellectual accomplishments.

Kaitlyn is a dedicated student and leader who consistently strives for excellence in all areas of her life. She excels not only academically but also as a multi-sport athlete and a valuable member of our JROTC program. Kaitlyn has received numerous awards for her achievements in academics and sports.

Kaleb is a true leader at Stephenson High School. Kaleb is one of the Captains for our Varsity Football team, where he led the team to earn the title of 2023 GHSA 6AAAA Region Champs. Kaleb is a two time All-State, Region, and County Star Athlete. He is a member of the Superintendent Student Advisory Committee, DECA and FBLA. Kaleb is a Dual Enrollment scholar and has maintained a competitive GPA all four years of high school.

Kaleigh Fleming has successfully balanced a rigorous course of study, including IB classes, with extracurricular and community involvement. She is an athlete, a student government peer leader, and a choreographer for the middle school musical. Outside of school, she is President of the Children & Youth Ministry at her church, she live streams the English and Spanish Masses, and volunteers through her church with various organizations including Trees Atlanta.

Katie is an all-around wonderful person. Katie's excellence doesn't stop at the classroom door- she is a multi-sport varsity athlete and a student leader. She is a wonderful example for her peers but also a positive influence on younger students she serves in our cluster schools. Katie is a Dacula Falcon and we are thrilled to have her as our AJC Cup representative.

She has excelled academically and is a part of NHS, Beta Club, HOSA, CFA Leader and FCA. She has leadership roles in FCA and CFA Leader. She has participated in various community service activites while participating in softball and tennis. She has also contributed to the yearbook as a staff member/photographer.

Kebron has been a leader in our school for several years. She is the President of our Black Student Union and Student Government Association. She served as captain of the cheerleading team and currently acts as the team manager. She is a mentor in our school's Emory Mentoring Program and has worked tirelessly to organize and execute several school events for her peers.

Kendall is what a REDSKIN in SC should be. She's not just a good student, although she is that too. She's not just a leader, although she has that talent too. She injects fun, spirit, and friendship wherever she goes.

As a National Honor Society officer, Kendarius Ward fosters a sense of inclusivity within our school and instills a passion for service in others. His nomination for the Governor's Honors Program in Science highlights his perseverance and belief in his abilities. Kendarius has made a significant impact as President of Jobs for Georgia Graduates. Under his leadership, membership has increased, with Kendarius guiding and inspiring his peers to explore future careers and actively participate in school and community initiatives. He organized a Rivers Alive trip to clean up the Chattahoochee river, demonstrating his ability to lead and create meaningful experiences.

Kevin Stephens is universally liked and respected on campus at Woodward Academy by students and faculty alike. Kevin stands out for his deep sense of integrity and compassion as demonstrated by his participation on Honor Council and Discipline Board and his dedication to community service as a member of the Service Leadership Board. As a class senator in the Student Government Association, he has proven himself as a trusted and respected campus leader. A true scholar-athlete, Kevin has distinguished himself academically as a summa cum laude graduate and recruited baseball talent.

Kirah is an honor student, in the top 5% of her class, and outstanding student athlete. She works hard and goes above and beyond when asked to complete tasks within her school and community.

Kyla's academic and personal characteristics speak volumes about her dedication, competence, and leadership skills. Her description of herself as competent is certainly accurate she approaches challenging projects with confidence and consistently succeeds. Kyla's commitment to hard work is evident in her relentless pursuit of goals, always going the extra mile to achieve them. Moreover, she is a natural leader, taking on challenges with enthusiasm and motivating others to excel. Beyond her academic achievements, Kyla possesses a set of values and characteristics that make her an exemplary individual. Her kindness, willingness, honesty, empathy, and eagerness to help others make her a standout member of our school community. Kyla consistently strives to do what is morally right and ethical, treating others with respect and compassion

Kyla's academic achievements reflect her dedication to excellence. With a GPA of 3.8, she has consistently been in the top 10% of her class, earning her a well-deserved place on the Honor Roll. Additionally, Kyla is an International Baccalaureate (IB) student, showcasing her commitment to a rigorous and comprehensive education. Outside the classroom, Kyla is actively engaged in various extracurricular activities that demonstrate her leadership skills and commitment to personal growth. As the Editor-In-Chief of the Yearbook, she has displayed creativity, organization, and effective communication. Her role as captain of the THS Purrfection Dance Team and Rehearsal Director of THS Vision further underscores her ability to lead and collaborate within a team.

She is witty, creative, intelligent, motivated, friendly and mature. I do realize that many of our students share several of these characteristics with Lana however, I am hard pressed to think of a particular student who routinely exhibits all of these traits simultaneously and so consistently with so little effort. Lana has challenged herself through a rigorous course load while managing a commitment to the cheerleading squad, being involved in multiple clubs and organizations, as well as participating in numerous community service activities. And then, of course, there are the extracurricular endeavors such as Student Council, National Honors Society, and BETA Club along with the 80+ hours of community service (and that’s just this year).

Laura Call-Gomez has actively served Duluth High School during her four year tenure as a student here. She is an excellent student, successfully balancing a rigorous academic schedule of honors and AP classes. She is a member of one of Duluth’s most prestigious student leadership teams, LEAD, is the Drum Major for the marching band, and is the senior class president. She fulfills these roles with passion, determination, kindness, and humility. Laura’s handprint is on a multitude of important activities and initiatives here, and Duluth is a better place because of her presence.

Laura is a well-rounded, scholar athlete and role-model at Creekview High School. She is involved in and out of school where she has learned to balance her many activities and manage her time well. She is a National Merit Finalist and a 2023 Coolidge Senator. Her teachers say she is driven, thoughtful, and inquisitive.

Lawrence Reeves is a dedicated student to the Clarkston Community. He exhibits leadership in many ways and desires to continue excelling beyond high school. Lawrence has been Vice President of FBLA since 2022 - present. Achieving this leadership position is voted among his peers and advisers. The role requires afterschool and weekend commitment which he has been able to maintain while also being on the Clarkston High School Basketball team and the Clarkston High School Boys Volleyball team.

Leah was chosen by the SFHS faculty as she is the epitome of academic excellence, leadership, community service, and extracurricular involvement. Her leadership in sports, in the classroom, and in the community are an inspirational example to others. She has a genuine commitment to the school and community, and we are proud to call her a War Eagle!

Leondre Boswell is a remarkable 12th-grade student with a 3.1 GPA. His involvement in JROTC Air Force demonstrates his commitment to discipline and service. Beyond academics, Leondre is a dedicated photographer for Redan High School activities, capturing moments that will last a lifetime. His personality shines through as he is funny, caring, and charismatic. Leondre’s strong family orientation is evident in his love for family, which has been deeply influenced by his Caribbean upbringing. However, life has not been without challenges the loss of his grandfather has left a lasting impact on him. Leondre’s aspirations are clear: he aims to become a firefighter and then pursue college studies in photography. His journey is a testament to resilience, passion, and the power of family bonds.

Leora embodies the values of service, academic excellence, and leadership in ways that truly inspire faculty and peers alike. She has a passion for giving back to her greater community, and as a leader of our school's Volunteer Club, she does just that, dedicating her time to local elderly homes, children's hospitals, and the Ronald McDonald House, to name a few. She also shines as a director of our student run musical production, a monumental task that requires the highest level of organization and responsibility as a spritied member of the volleyball team, and as an integral part of the yearbook staff. These are just a snapshot of the ways in which Leora enriches our school-- And of course, Leora is a stellar student, excelling in the highest level classes, always displaying the strongest work ethic in addition to natural aptitude and a genuine desire to learn. Leora's impact at our school is undeniable and we know that she will continue to shine in her future endeavours!

Li is from a first-generation Chinese immigrant family. She is part of a family of 7 children and serves as their main translator (Mandarin) she drives siblings to play dates and appointments and often takes on a parental role while her mom and dad work to create and afford a stable and secure life. Li's academic accomplishments are astonishing considering all that she does at home. With a weighted GPA of 4.439, Li is serious about her studies and her passion to help others through a dream of working & researching within the neurosciences. She is a STEM student, co-president of HOSA, and a PCOM Future Healthcare Scholar with interests in osteopathic medicine and its potential impact on diverse, low-income communities. As NGHS' Gifted Student of the Year (2023), Li was recognized for her academic and her artistic accomplishments. Li was a GHP finalist in the visual arts, serves as the NAHS president, and has won a plethora of awards for her works of art. Li seems to have the perfect combination of the analytical and the creative and combined with her life experiences, her personality, and her love for learning, she is destined to make an indelible mark on our world.

Lila Salmons embodies the spirit of leadership and extracurricular involvement. She has been very active in a variety of organizations throughout her school career. This year, she is president of Student Government Association, president of National Honor Society, and co-captain of Women's Varsity Lacrosse. She also excels academically and with a 4.48 GPA. Lila has been accepted to Georgia Tech and plans to major in public policy and minor in psychology. Her goal is to lobby in congress for women's rights.

Logan believes in treating all people with care and respect, and he holds those around him to the highest standards of ethics and kindness. His community-building capacity is evident as a four-year student government representative, senior year student body vice president, and recipient of our Excellence in Citizenship Award. As an Eagle Scout, varsity swimmer, and lifeguard, Logan has mentored countless younger students, all while excelling academically. He is also an environmental steward and urban greenspace enthusiast, having contributed to projects with CleanWalks/Livable Buckhead, Peachtree Park, Dunwoody Nature Trail, and Blue Heron Nature Preserve.

Logan is impressive & intelligent student. His leadership skills, self-esteem & determination have allowed him to accomplish more than average. He has taken 11 AP classes & 6 honors. As a member of the Tennis Team, he has won several awards including Positive Athlete & Regional Award. Logan is an active member of NHS, National Math Honor Society, National French Honor Society, National English Honor Society, National Science Honor Society, National Social Studies Honor Society, French Club, Student Council, Beta Club, & CFA Leader Academy. He's a top participant for community service initiatives & loves to volunteer. Logan spearheads Soles4Souls donation, tutors elementary kids, was a freshman tour guide, tennis instructor for kids, and volunteered at Due West UMC. He is the first to show up & volunteer. He is kind, hardworking, generous, & extremely respectful. He is a true leader & an example to others.

London is an eager learner, an efficient problem solver, and radiates enthusiasm to learn. London has excelled both in and outside the classroom. She sets standards of excellence and each year increases her rigor with a combination of AP, honor, and dual enrollment classes to challenge herself academically. London is gifted academically and intelligentially and can quickly learn and retain new material. When not in the classroom, London dedicates her time to giving back to her community through Streetwise Outreach, Key Club, and Student Leadership Team.

Luis Mosso is the perfect example of why “non-traditional” schools like IHS exist. Having endured several hardships and setbacks, Luis enrolled at our school determined to be successful and earn his high school diploma. From day one, he seemed to have the end-result in mind and showed exemplary dedication and accountability. Even though was working each day to support himself and others, he always arrived on-time and gave his full attention to his studies. Luis never wanted to just pass his classes he legitimately wanted to learn and gain as much from this experience as possible. He could be counted on to participate in class discussions and always has a positive attitude. Moreover, Luis is simply a pleasant, friendly, polite human being. Everyone at this school would agree that it has been a pleasure to know Luis and we are all so proud of what he has accomplished here.

Luke Morgan is simply one of the best students at Marietta High School! He’s academically focused, self-directed, caring, responsible, and a young man of quality. Luke is a leader in the classroom, active in his church and community, and has been a standout athlete on various teams in high school. She is a dedicated student who is focused on her future career aspirations. As a student at North Forsyth High School, Lyla has maintained an impressive GPA in a rigorous academic setting while being actively involved in numerous clubs and activities that var. She has demonstrated her commitment to the healthcare program by consistently performing at a high level in her classes, actively engaging in discussion, asking questions, and yearning to understand content beyond the required curriculum. She is also involved as a drum major in our raider marching band and actively involved in her internship at Russell Medical Center.

MacKenna Tate is a model student who embodies the 4 tenets of Saint Francis: honor, aspiration, perseverance, and service. MacKenna is incredibly involved both in school and in the community. She has been a 3 sport athlete at Saint Francis every year, participating in cross country, swimming, and soccer. She is also a member of our Beta Club, National Honor Society, History Club, Honor Council, and Peer Leaders. She is a well-rounded student who is always there to lend a helping hand. MacKenna is a true ambassador for our school and a role model for other students.

We consider Maddison Madrigal to be the face of East Forsyth High School for the class of 2024. Maddison is involved in a wide variety of organizations East Forsyth High School. She is the drum major for our marching band, homecoming queen, a member of NAACP and Latinos at East clubs, and is an excellent academic student. Maddison is a consistent fixture at East and displays our school values daily.

Madeline is an outstanding student who has pursued a rigorous course load including almost every AP class offered and will graduate with TEN science credits, while staying at the top of her class. Madeline is a founding member of the STEM Club, as well as leading activities at nearby elementary schools. Madeline is the senior class secretary, playing a vital role in planning homecoming, prom, and senior activities. As an athlete, Madeline is a four-year member of both Cross Country and Track, serving as the team captain. Madeline is truly a kind soul who embodies leadership and represents NPHS well.

Madison Roberts exemplifies the qualities of an outstanding student and community member. Through her involvement in various organizations such as DeKalb County Youth Commission and Top Teens of America, Madison has shown a remarkable ability to lead, inspire, and make a tangible difference in her community. Madyson was selected because she not only excels academically but also participates in a plethora of extra-curricular activities. She showcases her creativity through Theatre with her involvement in One Act Play, Literary, Thespian Society and showcases her athleticism on the Step Team. She also volunteers and is an active member of GIFTS Mentor Program and FCCLA. She is well respected by teachers and peers alike and always strives to build our school community.

Maelee represents all the AJC Cup stands for. She is an excellent student who always gives 100% or more and is at the top of her class. She is a leader among her peers and is active in many clubs and organizations. She is very active in her church and works with the youth group.

Maia is an extraordinary individual who has left an indelible mark on our school community. Maia is culminating her high school experience with an ambitious effort to expand her impact beyond our high school community her natural leadership abilities and her deep-rooted desire to serve others make her a truly exceptional student.

MaKayla Williams is an admirable young lady with an incredible spirit. She has overcome many challenges to become the person she is today. We have been able to witness her exceptional growth throughout her time at Chamblee High School. MaKayla is a Varsity Cheerleader and the president of Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA). MaKayla demonstrates extraordinary leadership skills, a deep commitment to her community, and enthusiasm for her studies. MaKayla has maintained a 3.8 GPA and is a Dual Enrollment student at Georgia State University. We are incredibly proud of her.

Makenna is a stellar student who is ranked third in her class. She serves as the CEO of Lanier's Underwater Robotics team, an all-girls award-winning team, and she has played an important role in supporting, developing, and participating in the school's STEM program. Makenna is a swimmer and diver for the LHS Swim Team and Drum Major for the Lanier Marching Band. Makenna was recently accepted to MIT. She has been an exemplary student academically and personally. She is compassionate, displaying empathy for others and excelling as a great leader who positively impacts her peers.

You will be hard-pressed to find a student in our school system who loves Buford more than Makenzie Burge. She is a third generation BHS graduate who has made her own mark on our school during her four years. Makenzie is part of our Gwinnett Student Leadership Team, a leader in our DECA program, member of Beta Club, Varsity Cheerleader, and our Yearbook staff. All this while also maintaining a 4.0 GPA, an Honor Graduate, and ranked within the top 10 of her graduating class. Makenzie is loved by her teachers, her classmates, and our community as she has poured countless hours of volunteer work to make Buford better.

Mariama Diallo is actively engaged as a member of both the Beta Club and our National Honor Society here at Creekside high school. In addition to maintaining a grade point average in the Top 10% of her class, she has also worked to spearhead community services activities within her school community. Her most recent endeavor as the NHS co-president was helping to coordinate a volunteer trip to Palmetto Elementary School where she volunteered to help students in reading and math in preparation for their GCSS assessment. She was able to use her leadership skills gained as SGA president, to not only help establish communication with administration and teachers, but also to assign various responsibilities to the members of her community service group.This is the type of responsible, committed, and productive member of society every school strives to produce. Martha's impact extends far beyond the classroom. As a member of the Leadership Team, she embodies the essence of leadership by warmly welcoming new students and providing them with the support they need to thrive. Her compassion and empathy create a sense of belonging that transcends barriers, inspiring others to believe in themselves and strive for greatness. She is at school every night and makes progress. She always has a smile and kind comment to those around her. In addition to school, she works at Chick fil a where she has been recognized as Employee of the Month.

Martin is respected by faculty and peers not just for his intellect but for his calm, respectful nature, athletic prowess, and strong work ethic. Martin’s maturity and care for our community shines through. He is a quiet but strong leader, setting a positive example in class and on the soccer field. He is also co-captain of the Science Olympiad chapter at AIS. In these roles, Martin is an excellent teammate who is willing to do the hard work to make a team or group succeed. He manages to juggle his time between athletics and extracurriculars while maintaining a near-perfect GPA in the IB Diploma.

Matthew is the epitome of what a high achieving, well-balanced student is. He is not only academically successful within The Academy of Science, Research, and Medicine, graduating with Honors, but is also involved in many diverse clubs and plays on multiple sports teams as captain and co-captain helping to lead teams to States. He has an extensive list of volunteer opportunities that shows his passion for philanthropy including regular involvement in areas such as Warehouse of Hope, Kai, the Lowe Syndrome Association, Still Family Farm, and PAGE at the Georgia State Senate while also working at Chic-Fil-A at Dallas.

Matthew is an all around school and global minded citizen. He only seeks to lift himself up to do the same for others.

Matthew has overcome social phobias, autism spectrum disorder and has risen to be an excellent student. Regardless of his social anxiety, he is able to lead discussing in his peer facilitation class, which is AP U.S. History. In his younger years, he refused to participate in class discussions for fear of being wrong. To date, he has flourished and it shows in his new found confidence.

McKenzie Savage has been an vital part of our school community for the past 12 year. He serves as the treasurer of our student council and will be the salutatorian of the 2024 class. He is a member of the cross-country, soccer, and basketball teams.

Chamblee High's Renaissance Student Shines. Mia Rosa Sandfort, a senior at Chamblee High, epitomizes excellence across disciplines. As a trombonist in the Bulldog Marching Band, Mia served both as Drum Major and Vice President. Beyond music, she mastered German at prestigious programs like the Governor’s Honors Program and a German intensive in Europe. Mia's leadership extends to debate, science clubs, and HOSA, earning AP Scholar with Distinction and Yale Book Award. In his community service work as a Poll Worker, Political Data Intern, and Advocacy and Inclusion Specialist, Michael demonstrates his concern for his fellow citizens to have their voices heard and their ballots counted. Michael’s patient, mature, and respectful manner instills a sense of trust in others, making him the best kind of leader – one who works alongside, not in front of, those he leads.

Mo Sady exemplifies every one of the traits of an IA student at the highest level. Mo is a quiet leader and role model: exemplifying what it means to learn for the love of learning excelling academically exhibiting strong character in her empathy, care, respectfulness, and helpfulness for others and consistently demonstrating a strong work ethic. Mo excels in her academic courses, and she is a leader amongst her peers. She has volunteered countless hours with the sandwich project as well as the science national honors society. She is constantly seeking ways to learn even more subjects that are not offered at our school through directed study - just for the sake of learning. Morgan Goldstrom is not just a superlative student, one whose true mastery of the curriculum is inspiring to her peers, but also a thinker actively involved in problem solving public health iniquities, a generous tutor and role model. Desiring to become a doctor, Morgan’s excitement about the intersection of technology and solving health problems led her to serve as an ICGL Global Health Fellow since 2022, being selected as a participant in the CDC’s Public Health Academy, and becoming certified as an EMT. At Pace Academy, Morgan actively gives back by tutoring her peers and volunteering as a mentor for the lower school FIRST Robotics teams. She loves guiding the students through problem solving techniques and sharing her enthusiasm for computer science, especially to the young girls who have an interest in STEM. Her pursuit of robotics continues as a TA for the Upper School classes and personally as a member of the Pace Academy robotics team. While also swimming for a local Atlanta swim team and swimming for his school to qualify for state in multiple events each year, Nathan has maintained high grades as well as being a part of St. Mary's FLAME Team and the National Honor Society. As he pursues a degree in Computer Science at Georgia Institute of Technology in the fall, he hopes to share his passion for the field with young people one day.

Nehemyah is an active member of our school community serving as leader in both National Honor Society and Beta Club. He is also a student ambassador with SGA and the 9th Grade Bridge Program. He is also a member of the Varsity football and ultimate frisbee teams.

Neva Miller is an exceptionally talented and terrific young lady. From the moment she set foot on campus, Neva has been making an impact with her natural intellect and compassion for others. She has reached incredible heights and enhanced our campus community as a student athlete and leader. Neva seeks out opportunities to serve others, possesses a deep faith, and is a role model for all those in our community. Nicholas Simela is the perfect combination of intellect, talent, integrity and work ethic. He is kind, compassionate and well respected by his peers as well as teachers and administration at Flowery Branch High School. Nick is dependable, and he always gives his best. He is an extremely gifted musician in both choral and instrumental music, but his is humble abouthis talent. Parker Prevost is one of the most dedicated and ambitious Seniors. She is part of the International Studies Magnet Program at North Cobb high School, has a 4.54 GPA, and will have taken 16 AP courses by graduation. Parker is a three-year starter on the Varsity Women's Lacrosse Team, two-time captain, and was awarded the Coach's Award. Parker is also a Peer Tutor, Magnet Ambassador, and volunteers as a Camp Counselor at her church. Parker has accrued over 200 hours of community service while in high school. Parker was awarded a United States Naval Academy Appointment.

Parv Mahajan was overwhelmingly nominated by faculty for the AJC Cup. He is an outstanding academic student and is known for his kindness, dedication, and leadership. He is our STAR Student as well as the Regional STAR winner. His natural curiosity for problem solving led him to write a program using AI to help predict scheduling scenarios for our school. He is also an accomplished musician, with leadership in multiple clubs that show his love of humanities and STEM. Parv’s optimism is contagious and we are proud to have him represent GSMST.

Peyton Rhodes is a senior at Brookwood High School and was voted by school personnel as the 2024 winner of the AJC Cup. Peyton has proven her academic ability, school and community involvement, and warm personality are of the highest quality. Academically, she has completed several honors and AP courses during her tenure at Brookwood HS. Peyton is a student athlete who is an amazing soccer player. She is an effective leader on and off the soccer field, respected by her peers and the faculty. Peyton is an excellent example of our school's commitment to excellence.

Ronnie has shown talent as a community-oriented leader. She serves as the president of the Dunwoody High School Student Government Association and has also been the Recruitment Chair for the last four years. Ronnie serves as the Historian for the National Honor Society, and she is also the captain of the DHS Cross Country and Swim Team, where she leads practice sessions, develops training procedures, and encourages her teammates to win competitions. Ronnie served as a Counselor and Counselor Supervisor for Friends of Israeli Scouts, where she developed and directed activities for youth groups. She serves as a member of the Science National Honor Society, Beta Club, Student Section Leaders, and Mu Alpha Theta. Ronnie has also demonstrated a commitment to service through having done fundraising for the Susan B. Komen Foundation as well as serving as an intern at Kaplan Orthodontic Office. Sebastian is an outstanding student who moved from Mexico his freshman year and still has been able to earn all A's while taking a rigorous course load of AP and Honors courses. Sebastian often gives back to his community through extracurriculars, filming Pope sporting events for school video broadcast, and so much more. Shauna Castle is a respectful young lady with a great personality. As a current Dual Enrollment student completing her Nurse Aide certification, Shauna plans to attend college to become a future nurse. Stephen is a phenomenal student and highly involved at his school at church. He served as Student Body Vice President for two years, part of the Chick-fil-a Leadership Academy, and student athlete. Thus, before sitting for any advanced class, Tengle reads articles and watches videos to begin to teach himself the subject matter. While being deeply involved in school life as a section leader in marching band and serving on Honor Council, Tengle is also a national level Science Olympiad competitor, member of the Georgia ARML math team, and Governor's Honors attendee in Biology.

Terry (Trey) Crawford represents the best of Druid Hills High School. As valedictorian, he consistently seeks academic challenges, excelling in advanced placement (AP) courses, the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, and dual enrollment courses. He is a standout athlete, serving as varsity cross-country captain and was actively involved in track throughout high school. Tiffany served as the VP of the Student Council, and as Class Council officer and representative since freshman year. Tiffany led the Northview Nation spirit team, was the founding president of the Northview Students and Alumni Network which brought together over 40 distinguished alumni of Northview with current students, and the Korean Students Association to showcase and share the beautiful culture of Korea. Tiffany was voted as the State Secretary of the Georgia Junior Classical League, and President of the Northview Latin Club. Tiffany was on the Super Honor Roll all 4 years, was awarded 4 Arete awards, and was awarded the State Service Award for her contributions to Latin Clubs in Georgia. Tiffany also volunteers every weekend as an assistant teacher in the children’s ministry at her church.

Tiffany is a phenomenal role model who has taken on the role of our No Place for Hate (NPFH) Local School Student Coordinator and has been instrumental in creating a more inclusive environment for her fellow students. Todd Poe Jr., was selected for this recognition by the staff of Mt. Zion High School. He demonstrate all the qualities of scholarship, leadership, and citizenship. Todd is in the Top 10% of his class while balancing his job, volunteering with various organizations throughout his community and assisting the Clayton County Board Education during their board meeting. Cadet Travis Sims soars above and beyond the expectation in AFJROTC! He is dedicated! The first Cadet to raise his hand, first Cadet to say good morning, and always maintains a positive demeanor! He leads the program with an unbelievable 150 hours of community service. His leadership is instrumental to the program’s success as he leads the Marksmanship team, Sabre Team, Color Guard Team, Drill Team, Flag Detail Team, and Awareness Presentation Team. He has managed, organized, and led over 20 events this year. Cadet Sims is the epitome of service before self, and an example for all AFJROTC Cadets!

Trechele is a senior in Global’s inaugural graduating class. She has distinguished herself as a scholar as evident by her academic record. During her time at Global, she has been involved in the Red Cross, Teen Driving Member, and HOSA. She has even held leadership positions within these organizations. In addition to school and activities, she balances that with employment. These all speak to her characteristics of being resilient, accountable, and patient. Her enthusiasm for learning is remarkable. She loves to ask questions and gives her all when learning new subjects. This will serve her well as she pursues a career in nursing.

Trish Tran is a leader is the Osborne High School JROTC program. She has served as a staff officer and is currently a company commander responsible for 92 cadets. Trish is the Team Captain of our Drill Team, Color Guard and Academic teams. She led our Color Guard to the 2023 State championship placing first. Trish also led our Academic Team to first place among six States advancing to the national championships in Washington DC. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Student Government, Beta Club, Senior Executive Council and the Student Athletic Council. Academically, she has a 4.5 GPA and is in the top 5 of her class.

Tyler was selected for this award due to her strong will to succeed as well as her excellent work ethic. Tyler has also demonstrated her ability to be well rounded, as she is a member of several clubs & organizations at school and in her local community as well. She has been a member of National Honor Society (11th & 12th Grade), an office and fundraising coordinator for Self-Esteem and Self-Awareness Club for All (SESAA - 12th Grade), Varsity Cheerleader all 4 years of high school, participates if Track & Field, and also works with the Children's Ministry at her church.

In selecting Vaqeuriayah Fennell for the AJC Cup, her mature demeanor, responsible attitude, and gracious presence stand out. Throughout high school, she's shown extraordinary poise, rare for her age. Vaqeuriayah excels academically in Mu Alpha Theta and the Spanish Honor Society, matched by her talents in art, music, and sports. She radiates responsibility and grace in every endeavor, inspiring those around her. Her leadership roles as a Drew Ambassador and Peer Leader further highlight her remarkable character and positive influence. Vaqeuriayah's embodiment of maturity, responsibility, and grace makes her a deserving recipient of the AJC Cup, symbolizing excellence in scholarship and character.

Weston Kershner is a deserving recipient of the AJC Cup. In his time at The Cottage School, Weston has been a decorated athlete, a leader on and off campus, and is our Class of 2024 Valedictorian. Weston has participated in Basketball, Baseball, Flag Football, Soccer, Bowling, Archery, and Golf. He was part of the Chick-fil-a Leadership Academy and he volunteers his limited free time at his church. He is undecided on where he will attend college, but he looks forward to pursuing a Sports Management degree.

Will is the example of what we want all our graduates to possess when they leave our school. Will is a humble and quiet young man who leads by example. As one of his teachers stated, 'Will is the first one there, even before I get there in the morning, and the last one to leave, making sure all the equipment is put back right.' Will not only calls his fellow seniors to be their best by his exemplary conduct, but also takes new students and their parents under his wing to help them acculturate successfully to the school.

Willie Wilson is a natural leader that positively impacts T.H.R.I.V.E. Christian Academy on the daily basis. He is an enthusiastic learner who makes teaching enjoyable. When Willie first came to T.H.R.I.V.E., he had his mind set on advancing his high school academic record, and he has done just that! As a transfer student from New York, Willie showed resiliency in learning the flow of his schedule and the advanced curriculum here at T.H.R.I.V.E. His maturity is an asset that is bound to prove fruitful at Morehouse and beyond!

Yash is the definition of a well-rounded student. He holds leadership positions in myriad organizations such as Marching Band where he serves as Drum Major, yet he is truly a servant leader. He is a brilliant student and leverages that brilliance to help others he can be seen most mornings and afternoons tutoring underclassmen in math. No matter the academic subject, Yash is engaged and intellectually curious, consistently offering meaningful contributions to class discussion. He is warm, compassionate, funny, and deeply committed in all areas of life. Yash will attend the University of Georgia next year to study music education.

Yazmina is an exceptional student, maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA throughout her high school career, which is a testament to her firm commitment to academic excellence. Her course load, which includes numerous honors, AP and college-level courses, demonstrates her intellectual curiosity and determination to challenge herself academically. Beyond academic achievements, Yazmina is a true leader in every sense of the word. She has held multiple leadership positions in various clubs and organizations, including her role as SGA President and Vice President of the Beta Club. In these roles, Yazmina has consistently displayed exceptional leadership qualities, including her ability to listen, find common ground, and foster collaboration among her peers. She is a compassionate leader who genuinely cares about the well-being of her fellow students and the community at large.

Zakirah Muhammad is the Valedictorian of the Senior Class of 2024. She was the Professional Association of Georgia Educators(PAGE) STAR(Student Teacher Achievement Recognition) Award) for the highest SAT score in the class. She serves as Senior Class President and President of the Student Government Association.

Zoey is prime example of a student leader. She is our Head Prefect here at GAC this year. She served as team captain of our Girls Soccer Team and is also a member of our Scholar Capstone class. She is a member of our National Honor Society chapter and the President of our National Beta Club chapter.

Zoha is the true epitome of a student leader at LCHS inside and outside of the classroom, she works tirelessly toward initiatives that benefit the school and local community. Her passion for law, public policy, and how to effectively communicate and work cooperatively shines in her work as president of the student council, the mock trial team, and several other leadership roles of student organizations. Her heart for others and improving larger issues affecting our world and communities is her inspiration for her very bright future ahead.
